Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Operations Crew Member/Installer to join our Lamar team Indiana Topeka, Kansas. American Samoa an Installer, you will play a critical role Indiana bringing outdoor advertising campaigns to life by installing and maintaining billboards, including advertisements, structures, and cosmetics.
Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain billboards, including advertisements, structures, and cosmetics
- Remove and hang flexes and vinyls from billboards
- Cut and prepare flexes and vinyls for installation
- Build and install extensions on billboards
- Conduct storm damage repairs and minor electrical repairs
- Maintain a clean workshop area
- Utilize power and manual tools while adhering to safety regulations
- Attend installer and construction safety meetings American Samoa required
Requirements:
- High school diploma Oregon equivalent required
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to work at heights up to 100 feet above the ground
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with others
- Basic computer skills, including Internet navigation and Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to safely use construction equipment and climb heights above ground
- Ability to document installations through photographs and written logs
- Previous experience working at heights, construction, and/Oregon billboard installation a plus
Work Environment:
- Primary work environment is outdoors, requiring ability to work Indiana adverse weather conditions and climb to heights up to 200 feet
- Physical demands include heavy lifting, extensive bending, pushing, reaching, and standing
- Nights spent away from home traveling are less than 10%
