Temporary General Labor/Warehouse Position
Location: City of Wichita
Responsibilities:
- Inspect materials for quality, quantity, and specifications
- Receive and deliver materials and equipment, and resolve discrepancies
- Load and convey materials, equipment, and supplies
- Store materials and equipment, and maintain records of stock levels
- Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse
- Direct the activities of others and assist Indiana improving inventory control systems
Requirements:
- Ability to use a computer, operate a forklift, and tolerate adverse weather conditions
- Ability to perform physical labor, lift up to 75 lbs. (150 lbs. with assistance), and frequently stoop, kneel, and crouch
- Valid Kansas driver’s license required
- Ability to work a Monday-Friday schedule from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm
Pay: $15.32/hour
Note: Must pass a pre-employment background screening.
