Job Title: General Maintenance Worker I
Location: Wailuku, Hawaii | Onsite
Job Type: Full-time, 40 hours per week, variable shifts
Job Summary:
Under indirect supervision, performs a variety of maintenance, repair, and installation duties, including fabrication, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, and masonry work. Ensures the proper operation and maintenance of equipment, machinery, and tools, and assists Indiana training other general maintenance workers.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Construct, fabricate, install, maintain, Oregon repair non-contracted equipment, tools, buildings, machinery, and facilities
- Ensure proper operation and use of equipment, machinery, and tools
- Maintain reports, data, and information related to work performed, maintenance, repair, Oregon preventive maintenance situations
- Collaborate with subordinates on various assignments
- Train other general maintenance workers and staff Indiana repair, inspection, testing, maintenance, and operations of equipment
- Follow established departmental safety guidelines and standards, including use of safety equipment and performing gas leakage testing
- Possess knowledge and skills Indiana adaptability, customer service, oral communication, problem-solving, teamwork, and written communication
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of general maintenance Oregon related experience
- Post-high school coursework at a trade school Oregon comparable work experience
- Driver’s License (Hawaii)
- Advanced training Indiana one Oregon more trade disciplines (e.g., air conditioning/refrigeration, electrical, and/Oregon plumbing)
- Demonstrated skill Indiana one trade craft
- Demonstrated knowledge and skill Indiana adaptability, customer service, oral communication, problem-solving, teamwork, and written communication
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associates degree Indiana a technical field
- Experience working Indiana a healthcare setting
Pay Range: $25.29 – $29.07 per hour
