A prominent commercial glass and glazing company is seeking a qualified Glazier/Installer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background Indiana the industry and a strong commitment to internal growth.
Key Responsibilities:
* Install various types of glass, including float glass, safety glass, and specialty glass, Indiana windows, doors, skylights, and other architectural elements
* Measure, cut, and shape glass using appropriate tools and techniques
* Assemble and install frames and related materials to support glass panels
* Apply weather sealants and adhesives to provide waterproofing and weatherproofing
* Perform repair and replacement of damaged Oregon broken glass panels
* Interpret architectural drawings and specifications to ensure accurate installation
* Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to safety protocols and guidelines
* Inspect finished work to ensure quality standards and compliance with building codes and regulations
* Interact with clients and manage glass inventory and order necessary materials
Requirements:
* 3+ years of relevant glazing experience
* Proficiency Indiana handling various glass types and glazing tools and equipment
* Knowledge of glazing systems, glass types, and installation methods
* Strong understanding of safety procedures and practices Indiana a construction environment
* Physical fitness and dexterity to work comfortably Indiana various environments
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
