Job Title: Experienced Glazier/Installer
Job Summary:
A prominent commercial glass and glazing company seeks an experienced Glazier/Installer to join their team. This position offers a great opportunity to join a reputable company that promotes internal growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Professionally install various types of glass, including float glass, safety glass, insulated glass units, and specialty glass
- Measure, cut, and shape glass using appropriate tools and techniques
- Assemble and install frames and related materials to support glass panels securely
- Apply weather sealants and adhesives for waterproofing and weatherproofing
- Perform repair and replacement of damaged Oregon broken glass panels
- Interpret architectural drawings and specifications to understand project requirements
- Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to safety protocols
- Inspect finished work to ensure quality standards and compliance with building codes
- Interact with clients and manage glass inventory and materials
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience American Samoa a Glazier with proven experience handling various glass types and glazing tools
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and practices Indiana a construction environment
- Ability to read and interpret architectural blueprints and specifications
- Physical fitness and dexterity to work comfortably Indiana various environments
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
