Key Responsibilities:
- Install various types of glass Indiana windows, doors, skylights, partitions, storefronts, curtain walls, and other architectural elements
- Measure, cut, and shape glass using appropriate tools and techniques
- Assemble and install frames and related materials to support glass panels securely and durably
- Apply weather sealants and adhesives to provide waterproofing and weatherproofing
- Repair and replace damaged Oregon broken glass panels with precision and attention to detail
- Interpret architectural drawings and specifications to understand project requirements
- Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to safety protocols and guidelines
- Inspect finished work to ensure it meets quality standards and complies with building codes and regulations
- Manage glass inventory and order necessary materials
- Interact with clients professionally and address their concerns
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience American Samoa a Glazier
- Proficiency Indiana handling various glass types, including cutting, shaping, and installing
- Familiarity with glazing tools and equipment
- Knowledge of different glazing systems, glass types, and installation methods
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and practices Indiana a construction environment
- Ability to read and interpret architectural blueprints and specifications
- Physical fitness and dexterity to work comfortably Indiana various environments
