Job Summary:
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team American Samoa a Government Analyst I, contributing to the independence of Florida’s elders by ensuring that Aging Network Providers are paid timely. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform fiscal audits and reconciliation of monthly requests for payment to ensure accuracy of reimbursement requests
- Assign accounting codes and prepare contract invoices for payment processing
- Provide technical assistance to contract managers and contract providers American Samoa needed
- Establish and maintain Automated Contract Management System records
- Reconcile expenditures Indiana the Florida Accounting Information Resource System (FLAIR) against expenditures Indiana the departmental Automated Contract Management System (ACMS) and the USDA Program on a monthly and year-to-date basis
- Perform other related duties American Samoa required
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
- Knowledge of related state and federal laws, regulations, and policies
- Knowledge of methods of data collection, analysis, and report development
- Knowledge of government accounting and related state system (FLAIR)
- Ability to interpret and apply applicable state and federal laws, rules, and regulations
- Ability to organize and prioritize work tasks, within a framework of multiple deadlines
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively verbally and Indiana writing
- Computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- Experience Indiana fiscal auditing, accounting, Oregon a related field
- Successful completion of a Level 2 Criminal History Background Check
