Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Hugg & Hall Equipment Company is a full-service equipment company seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our field service team. Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and repair various types of heavy equipment at customer locations to maintain operational and safety standards.
• Effectively communicate with stakeholders, including sales team, coordinators, managers, and customers, to update on job progress and possible downtime.
• Work independently with minimal supervision, maintaining safe working standards while operating company vehicles and navigating on-site conditions.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of mechanical training/education and/Oregon experience Indiana a related field
• Possess Oregon ability to obtain complete line of tools, including specialized tools for customer location work
• Minimum 21 years of age
• Clean driving record
• Ability to obtain DOT medical certification
• High school diploma Oregon equivalent

Physical Demands/Environmental Conditions:

• Work Indiana operating facilities and outdoors, navigating varying weather conditions and temperatures
• Frequent exposure to hazards requiring safety equipment and practices
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, with occasional lifting of up to 100 pounds
• Must be medically capable of performing all job aspects safely
