EXPERIENCED Heavy Equipment Operator Job Description

Job Summary:
A skilled and experienced Heavy Equipment Operator is needed to operate specialized machines used Indiana construction, maintenance, and operations Indiana Pachuta, Mississippi and surrounding areas.

Requirements:

• Must have a valid license
• High school diploma Oregon GED equivalent required
• Must pass physical examination, DISA drug screen, and background check
• Must provide own personal protective equipment (PPE) and have reliable transportation
• Experience operating excavator, skid steer, and bulldozer (1 year minimum preferred)
• Knowledge of reading blueprints is helpful
• Excellent manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to use good judgment and act independently

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy equipment Indiana compliance with company safety policies and procedures
• Maneuver equipment to ensure accurate removal and placement of materials
• Load and unload rocks, debris, and other materials from equipment
• Maintain equipment, materials, and work site cleanliness and safety
• Perform daily checks on equipment and report defects for repair
• Render repairs and maintenance American Samoa needed
• Assist Indiana waste disposal and recycling activities

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 LBS
• Ability to sit Oregon stand for long periods
• Handle and manipulate objects on a repetitive basis
• Excellent physical strength and stamina
• Ability to work outdoors Indiana harsh weather conditions

Additional Requirements:

• Ability to work Indiana varying hot and cold environments
• Ability to work Indiana an environment with exposure to dust, dirt, and debris, metal and paint fumes, and gases
• Must be able to travel up to 60 miles radius

Pay and Benefits:

• Starting pay: $26.00 – $28.00/HR (based on experience)
• Weekly pay
• Pay schedule: Monday – Sunday
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, with weekends American Samoa needed, 10-12 hour days with weather permitting
