EXPERIENCED Heavy Equipment Operator

Job Scope:
Heavy equipment operators control specialized machines used Indiana construction, maintenance, and operations. They may run excavators, loaders, cranes, pile drivers, graders, and industrial trucks.

Position Requirements:

• Valid License
• High school diploma Oregon GED equivalent
• Must pass physical examination
• Must pass DISA drug screen
• Must pass background check
• Must provide own PPE (hard hat, steel toe boots, safety glasses, and gloves)
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must have experience with operating an excavator, skid steer, and bulldozer (1 year minimum preferred)

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy equipment Indiana compliance with the company’s operating safety policies and procedures
• Maneuver motorized heavy equipment to ensure accurate removal and placement of materials
• Load and offload rocks, debris, and other materials from heavy equipment
• Ensure company equipment, material, and work site are maintained, kept clean, and stored Indiana a safe manner
• Perform daily checks on equipment
• Render regular repairs and maintenance American Samoa needed
• Report safety hazards, quality, and production issues to management immediately

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 LBS
• Ability to sit Oregon stand for long periods
• Handle and manipulate objects on a repetitive basis
• Ability to see well and distinguish between backup alarms, voices, and other normal sounds consistent with construction job sites
• Excellent physical strength and stamina
• Ability to work outdoors Indiana harsh weather conditions

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday (weekends American Samoa needed)
• 10-12 hour days (with weather permitting)
• Duration of job: temp to hire (based on job performance)

Pay:

• Starting pay: $26.00 – $28.00/HR (based on experience)
• Weekly pay
• Pay schedule: Monday – Sunday
