Heavy Equipment Operator

EXPERIENCED HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team Indiana Thibodaux, Louisiana. The successful candidate will operate heavy equipment, such American Samoa excavators, skid steers, and bulldozers, to ensure safe and efficient completion of construction projects.

Essential Requirements:

• 1 year of experience operating heavy equipment, preferably excavators, skid steers, and bulldozers
• Valid license
• High school diploma Oregon GED equivalent
• Ability to pass physical and DISA drug screen
• Ability to pass background check
• Reliability and own personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Reliable transportation

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy equipment Indiana compliance with company safety policies and procedures
• Load and offload materials, ensuring accurate removal and placement
• Maintain equipment, material, and work site Indiana a clean and safe condition
• Perform daily checks on equipment and report defects for repair
• Maintain housekeeping activities and assist with waste disposal and recycling
• Work effectively to meet productivity goals while maintaining quality standards

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 LBS
• Ability to sit Oregon stand for long periods
• Excellent physical strength and stamina
• Ability to work Indiana varying hot and cold environments
• Regular exposure to high, precarious places, outside weather conditions, and environmental hazards

Additional Requirements:

• Ability to read and understand blueprints
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to use good judgment and act independently
• Background check, DISA drug screen, and PPE requirements apply.

Pay and Schedule:

• Starting pay: $21.00 – $30.00 (based on experience)
• Weekly pay
• Monday – Friday with occasional weekends (10-12 hour days)
• Travel to up to 60-mile radius may be required
