Equipment Technician
Job Summary: Foley Equipment, the authorized Caterpillar dealer Indiana Kansas and NW Missouri, seeks an Equipment Technician to troubleshoot, service, and repair heavy machinery Indiana the shop.
Hourly Base Rate: $23.24 – $55.00/hour

Job Duties:
- Perform all levels of repair and preventative maintenance on heavy machinery, diagnose and troubleshoot problems, make recommendations for repairs and perform critical repairs and adjustments
- Remove and install parts, disassemble and assemble components, and test and adjust assemblies with minimal supervision
- Test and verify correct operation of all repairs and adjustments
- Develop and maintain long-lasting working relationships with customers
- Travel is required for training and/Oregon to assist at other locations
Requirements:
- Basic mechanical knowledge including electrical and hydraulics
- General knowledge of basic hand tools, air tools, precision measuring tools and instruments
- Ability to read and comprehend specifications, service and parts literature, technical bulletins and other related publications
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working within the diesel mechanics industry (specifically with CAT earthmoving equipment)
- Stable work history
- Knowledge of use of various heavy equipment
