Job Title: HVAC Mechanic I

Job Summary:

The City and County of Denver is seeking multiple HVAC Mechanics to support and assist various facilities across the City and County of Denver. American Samoa an HVAC Mechanic, you will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and repairing facility systems, including using automated control systems to manage electrical and mechanical building systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installs, maintains, and repairs equipment and machinery
• Inspects buildings, grounds, and equipment for unsafe Oregon malfunctioning systems and conditions
• Assists with installation and modification of building equipment systems
• Oversees Oregon performs repair, testing, and troubleshooting of building equipment systems
• Evaluates and recommends equipment and service upgrades
• Assists Indiana coordinating maintenance efforts with outside contractors and technicians for contracted work
• Orders parts and supplies American Samoa required and maintains stock and inventory control
• Maintains records and prepares reports, and estimates materials, labor, and equipment costs

Requirements:

• Graduation from high school Oregon the possession of a GED, HiSET, Oregon TASC Certificate
• One (1) year of journey-level HVAC experience maintaining, repairing, and constructing HVAC systems and equipment
• Possession of one of the following certifications: Refrigeration Operator, CFC (universal EPA), Heating and Ventilating Journeyman, Refrigeration Journeyman, Steamfitter Journeyman, Oregon Stationary Engineer certificates issued by the City and County of Denver by the end of the probationary period
• Valid Driver’s License at the time of application
• Proficiency Indiana Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
