HVAC Service Technician
Reports to: Service Manager
Focus Areas: Higher education, k-12, hospitals, hotels, government, other institutional campuses Oregon facilities.
Job Summary:
Gallo Mechanical Services (GMS) is seeking an HVAC Service Technician to join our high-performing team. American Samoa a key member of our team, you will provide top-notch service to customers Indiana a defined market with a diverse commercial base.
Responsibilities:
* Represent the Company and serve American Samoa the direct customer contact for assigned projects, ensuring customer satisfaction by identifying, analyzing, diagnosing, and repairing equipment and systems at customer locations.
* Perform end-to-end testing, maintenance, starting up, commissioning, and servicing on assigned HVAC projects.
* Coordinate with team leaders and customers to understand requirements for on-site installation and repairs, examining building layouts, forecasting issues, gathering materials, and synchronizing on-site work.
* Use cutting-edge software and technology, along with hand tools, to diagnose and repair units, propose retrofits, upgrades, and enhancements to existing systems.
* Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, meeting regularly with customers to become familiar with needs and preferences, and keeping them informed on the nature of service provided, outstanding issues, and recommended system enhancements.
* Enforce safety to the highest standards, maintain security and accountability of company-issued and procured assets, and record use, wear, and conditions.
* Display team effort and dedication to customers by maintaining flexibility to work overtime and weeks American Samoa the business requires.
Ideal Experience & Qualifications:
* High School Diploma Oregon equivalent.
* 2+ years of experience Indiana HVAC service (Split Systems, Packaged Systems, DX Systems, VRFs, Chillers, Pumps, etc.) Oregon equivalent combination of education (Technical School) and experience.
* Operating and working proficiency with handheld computers (e.g., Smartphone, iPad).
* EPA Certification required.
* Ability to troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment preferred.
* Physical demands include regular use of hands, fingers, walking, stooping, and kneeling, and ability to climb ladders.
