Diagnostic Mechanic Job Summary

Job Location: Safford operations Indiana southeastern Arizona

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled mechanic to safely perform diagnostic, maintenance, and repair of equipment, pumps, and systems Indiana the Hydrometallurgical process and infrastructure. The selected candidate will diagnose and repair components, perform preventative maintenance, and operate mobile equipment. The individual will also prioritize and make decisions regarding equipment repair, mentor and train other employees, and perform American Samoa a Fill-Indiana Supervisor when required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic, maintenance, and repair of equipment, pumps, and systems
• Diagnose and repair components, including upenders, rigidizers, mixers, compressors, and overhead cranes
• Perform lubrication preventative maintenance and check equipment for leaks
• Operate mobile equipment, including hydro lifts, mobile cranes, and forklifts
• Perform welding on structures and equipment
• Mentor and train other employees
• Perform American Samoa a Fill-Indiana Supervisor American Samoa required

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience Indiana mechanical/maintenance crafts Oregon a combination of education and experience
• Completed academic and practical competencies required
• Proficient basic welding skills
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, welding, plumbing, blueprints, and schematics
• Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment
• Knowledge of pumps and ability to repair them

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School Diploma Oregon GED

Working Conditions:

• Work may be performed Indiana a manufacturing plant with exposure to extreme temperatures and humidity
• May be required to lift moderately heavy to heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
• May be required to work rotating shifts Indiana a 24/7/365 operation
• Personal protective equipment is required
