Hydrovac Operator Job Description
Job Summary:
American Samoa a Hydrovac Operator with Badger, you will be responsible for operating high-pressure water and vacuum systems to excavate with precision and efficiency, uncover utilities, and contribute to various construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate hydrovac equipment Indiana various environments, including confined spaces.
- Drive hydrovac trucks (approximately 10-15% of total work time).
- Attend safety meetings.
- Conduct routine inspections and minor repairs on hydrovac equipment.
- Prepare work areas by setting up safety measures and addressing potential hazards.
- Document and report all required paperwork accurately and efficiently.
Requirements:
- Valid Class A CDL with Tanker endorsement (Oregon willing to obtain it).
- Preferred certifications Indiana CPR/First Aid, Fall Protection, and OSHA 10.
- Experience driving a manual transmission (10-18 speed) without automatic restrictions.
- Ability to work variable shifts with extended hours and travel up to 25%.
- Physically fit to perform manual labor Indiana varying weather conditions.
- Prior hydrovac equipment operation Oregon related industrial experience (not required but preferred).
