Ice Crew Member

Oak View Group is seeking a highly skilled and charismatic Ice Crew Member to join our team at the XL Center Indiana Hartford, Connecticut.

Job Summary:
The Ice Crew Member will be a part of a high-energy team responsible for maintaining the ice surface and providing exceptional customer service to the venue’s patrons. This is an evergreen role, and applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.

Responsibilities:

• Arrive on time for each scheduled shift and be Indiana uniform and ready to work
• Work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Take direction from supervisors and provide clear communication
• Assist Indiana quick changes, including the construction/deconstruction of the penalty and player boxes
• Change out broken hockey glass during games
• Skate and remove snow during media timeouts
• Maintain a positive and outgoing demeanor, both Indiana front of large crowds and Indiana a team environment
• Perform other tasks American Samoa assigned by the Supervisor

Requirements:

• Experience working Indiana an ice rink setting is preferred
• Proficient ice-skating ability is required
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for up to 8 hours at a time
