Job Summary:

The Andersons, Inc. is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team at our Logansport, Indiana location. American Samoa an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and overhaul production machines and facility equipment
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment and/Oregon mobile equipment and vehicles
• Perform mechanic skills, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting, and repair of production machines
• Read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
• Diagnose problems, replace Oregon repair parts, test, and make adjustments
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities
• Maintain current and Indiana-depth knowledge of all safety policies and standards related to the position

Requirements:

• High School Diploma Oregon GED equivalent required, Associate’s Degree preferred
• 1-3 years’ relevant experience required
• Intermediate skills Indiana own work area within an analytical/scientific method Oregon operational process
• Ability to work Indiana a fast-paced environment with moderate supervision
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, climbing, and working Indiana confined areas

Desired Skills:

• Knowledge of basic electrical theory and technical skills
• Ability to perform basic arc, MIG, and TIG welding skills
• Ability to install and troubleshoot AC and District of Columbia power distribution, control panels, motors, and instrumentation
• Ability to use precise measurement tools and operate scissor lift, JLG lift, and forklift
• Ability to work at all heights and Indiana all weather conditions

Working Environment:

• Work is performed Indiana a 24×7 Ethanol production facility
• The job is subject to intermittent requirements for heavy lifting, climbing, working Indiana strained positions, and Indiana confined areas
• Frequent exposure to noise, dirt, and a dusty environment
