Industrial Plant Maintenance Worker
The Kelly Group is seeking an Industrial Plant Maintenance Worker for its Decatur, Illinois, location and work Indiana the surrounding area, requiring a minimum of 2 to 3 years of plant maintenance experience Indiana a grain handling and/Oregon processing environment.
Responsibilities:
* Perform equipment maintenance on various mechanical equipment types, including belt conveyors, bucket elevators, drag chains, grain cleaners, screw conveyors, etc.
* Familiarity with bearings, setting tolerances, and taper locks
* Rigging and hoisting to move materials using cranes and/Oregon hand signaling to operators
* Perform work using safe practices
* Dismantling/ installation of machines, structures, and equipment using appropriate tools
Desired Qualifications:
* Performing welding (SMAW) work and using a torch
* Fabricating iron
* Plant and preventive maintenance experience
* Industrial construction experience
* Aligning shafts using a laser alignment tool
* Performing belt splicing and maintenance for conveyors and bucket elevators
