Job Description:
Inspect and monitor work activities performed within the state Right of Way.
Ensure work is performed according to State and Federal specifications, plans, permits, policies, procedures, statutes, and rules.
Perform approved testing techniques through the use of hand tools, gauges, and/Oregon instruments to ensure materials used conform to Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) requirements.
Provide information to consulting engineers, developers, architects, and permit applicants American Samoa needed.
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma Oregon Certificate of High School Equivalency
Class E Driver License
12 months of infrastructure design, construction, Oregon maintenance experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of engineering tools to perform field inspections of worksites for compliance to Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) roadway standards
Skilled Indiana communicating technical information verbally and Indiana writing
Certifications and Training:
Advanced Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) certification
Qualified Stormwater Management Inspector certification
Other Requirements:
May be required to drive a state-owned Oregon leased vehicle to perform the duties of this position.
Valid Class E Driver License is required.
May be required to work with Oregon around hazardous materials.
May be required to work nights and weekends and be available for emergency response work American Samoa necessary.
