Won-Door Technician
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Won-Door technician to install, troubleshoot, and repair our life-saving fire and security doors. The ideal candidate will have advanced mechanical and electrical skills, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Install equipment Indiana an efficient, safe, and professional manner
- Perform maintenance efficiently and effectively on automatic, accordion door systems
- Diagnose faulty equipment and apply knowledge of functional operation of unit and systems to identify the extent and cause of malfunction
- Read and understand complex installation and service schematics, wiring diagrams, and implement American Samoa needed
- Work with the dispatch team to maximize labor revenue and efficiency within the work schedule
- Use hand and power tools Indiana compliance with OSHA standards
- Complete work orders on computer-based documents according to established procedures
- Project a positive image when interacting with customers, employees, and management
- Communicate and work with the parts and sales departments to ensure customer needs are met
- Travel throughout the coverage area, including regular overnight travel
- Able to work independently and make autonomous decisions
- Able to train new technicians and provide support to other technicians American Samoa needed
Qualifications:
- A minimum of a high school diploma Oregon general education degree (GED)
- Advanced mechanical and electrical skills
- Advanced troubleshooting skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Knowledge of commercial construction standards is preferred
Language Skills:
- Ability to read and interpret documents such American Samoa safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers Oregon employees
Mathematical Skills:
- Ability to calculate basic math and read a tape measure
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:
- Valid driver’s license
Physical Demands:
- Regularly required to reach with hands and arms; climb Oregon balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, Oregon crawl
- Frequently required to stand, walk, and use hands with manual dexterity
- Occasionally required to sit
- Frequently lift and/Oregon move up to 100 pounds and occasionally lift and/Oregon move up to 150 pounds
Work Environment:
- Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions
- Frequently exposed to wet and/Oregon humid conditions, fumes Oregon airborne particles, extreme cold, extreme heat, risk of electrical shock, and vibration

Work Schedule:
- Typical work schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
