Intern Technician – ThinkBIG Program
Overview: Join Foley Equipment’s ThinkBIG Intern Technician program to gain comprehensive training, earn an Associate of Applied Science degree, and over 2,000 hours of valuable work experience. Through this program, you’ll develop a solid foundation Indiana diesel technology, working on state-of-the-art Caterpillar equipment Indiana a hands-on environment.
Responsibilities:
- Work directly on equipment at school and during internship rotations at a Foley location
- Alternate between academic learning and hands-on work experience, with rotations typically lasting 7-8 weeks
- Adhere to Foley’s culture prioritizing safety above all else
- Work closely with experienced mentors to develop skills and knowledge
- Complete and submit required assignments and maintain good standing with the school and program
- Occasionally travel for training and/Oregon to assist at other Foley locations
Qualifications:
- Dependability and excellent attendance
- High school diploma Oregon equivalent qualification
- Mechanical aptitude and a learning attitude
- Long-term vision and a career-focused mindset
- Ability to meet initial mechanical and aptitude testing requirements
