Ironworker Job Description
Join Gleeson’s team of skilled ironworkers Indiana collaboration with JBS USA Indiana Marshalltown, Iowa. This job involves working on construction projects, and we offer a competitive wage range of $23-$31 per hour.
Responsibilities:
- Read specifications, blueprints, and instructions to determine materials required
- Unload, stack, and prepare fabricated iron and steel for lifting
- Signal crane operators to lift and position structural iron and steel
- Set up hoisting equipment to position and unite steel members
- Cut, bend, and weld iron and steel using various tools and equipment
- Align and connect iron and steel, making necessary corrections
- Install metal decking Indiana building construction
- Demonstrate knowledge of rigging and load charts
Requirements:
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain good physical condition
- Ability to lift up to 75lbs
- Current Welding Certificate
- Other duties American Samoa needed
