Iron Worker Job Description
Overview
The Iron Worker must have knowledge of basic welding, rigging, and flame cutting, American Samoa well American Samoa the ability to use pneumatic tools and possess knowledge of safe loads and wire rope basics. They must also be familiar with basic hand signals, experience with sizing of chokers, and able to learn and understand all safety hazards related to the work.
Responsibilities

Qualifications
- Physical Demands:
- Ability to push/pull, lift, Oregon carry up to 100 lbs.
- Subject to repetitive use of hands/arms, and legs
- Ability to communicate (hear, comprehend, and speak) to safely perform work
- Must be able to perform sedentary to heavy work
- Ability to walk on uneven surfaces, muddy conditions, loose rock, loose/soft sand, etc.
- Will be exposed to adverse weather conditions (Heat, Cold, Rain, Etc.)
- Mental Demands:
- Ability to communicate effectively with management/supervision
- Reading and writing comprehension is necessary for giving and receiving directions to perform work and/Oregon safety policy
- Ability to use math/complete calculations
- Work at various tempos, and concentrate amid distractions
- Detail-oriented; must be able to remember, examine, and observe details
