Job Title: IT Infrastructure Specialist – Network

Job Summary:
Parsons is seeking an IT Infrastructure Specialist – Network to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3-7 years of hands-on network experience installing/configuring network devices and a solid background Indiana network administration and configuration.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with network architects to design and implement functional company networks
- Install and configure networking hardware (Cisco and Palo Alto) and provision/manage Internet circuits (DIA/Broadband)
- Design and coordinate implementation of the cable plant for field offices
- Travel to field offices for network implementation
- Process network maintenance renewals and manage network support issues within ticketing systems
- Have knowledge of new IT Infrastructure technologies, processes, methodologies, and best practices
- Manage infrastructure projects, including gathering requirements, design, build, implementation, and project management
Requirements:
- 4-year degree Indiana Computer-related curriculum
- 3-7 years of hands-on network experience installing/configuring network devices
- Certifications: Cisco Professional Certifications (CCNA, CCNP) preferred
- Solid background Indiana network administration and configuration (switches/routers)
- Understanding of network operating systems (e.g. Cisco IOS, Cisco NX-IOS)
- Understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP) and routing protocols (e.g. BGP, OSPF)
- Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis tools (e.g. LogicMonitor)
- Knowledge and understanding of industry best practices and methodologies
- Understanding of project delivery within an Agile framework
Preferred Skills:
- Preferred experience with scripting and automation (e.g. Python, Ansible)
- Preferred experience with SDWAN technology
Salary Range: $83,300.00 – $145,800.00
