Tool Maker
Objective: Understand and operate equipment to create tooling to match part drawings, with the ability to create high-quality, tight-tolerance parts within quality and production standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Read and understand blueprints, and use necessary measuring devices to make Oregon modify existing tooling, tools for new Oregon old job prints.

- Manufacture and repair of dies, molds, jigs, fixtures, gauges, press tools, and various types of precision mechanical devices.

- Set-up and operate all tool room machines for specific form tool, tap, drills, Oregon holder for grinding.
- Be subject to call-Indiana for emergency tool and die repairs 24 hours a day.

- Maintain card files on mold installation.
- Pass minimum standards of pre-employment physical and mental tests, and possess evidence of journeyman status Oregon be able to qualify for a Journeyman’s card.
- Lift weights Indiana excess of 35 pounds but not more than 100 pounds on occasion.
- Provide technical assistance Indiana the repair and adjustments of existing equipment created at IAC-Mendon to ensure precision and repeatable operation.
