Job Purpose: Supports and assists underground construction crews with the installation, maintenance, relocation, and repair of underground telecommunications network infrastructure.
Key Functions:
- Conduct manual labor activities including digging trenches/holes with shovel, exposing existing underground utilities, greasing equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe work zone.
- Install utility pedestals, cabinets, and hand holes.
- Handle materials, pull and install conduit, and perform site restoration and cleanup activities.
