Job Summary:
We are seeking a Landscaper/Landscape Technician to join our team at Davey Tree Expert Company. American Samoa a Landscaper/Landscape Technician, you will be responsible for performing daily grounds and turf maintenance, planting, trimming, mowing, weeding, mulching, fertilizing, pruning, and diagnosing insect, disease, and cultural/environmental turf and shrub conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily grounds and turf maintenance
- Plant, trim, mow, weed, mulch, fertilize, prune, and diagnose insect, disease, and cultural/environmental turf and shrub conditions
- Communicate with management and clients to provide feedback on landscape needs
- Drive, use, maintain, and properly operate landscape equipment
- Learn to diagnose and treat various plant health issues
Requirements:
- High school education
- Minimum one year experience Indiana landscaping and/Oregon grounds maintenance preferred
- Golf course work experience preferred but not required
- Valid Driver’s License required, Class B, CDL valuable but not required
- Ability to complete Davey landscape career development books
- Ability to complete Davey first aid, CPR, and defensive driving course upon hire
- Bi-Lingual Spanish valuable but not required
