Golf Landscaper/Greenskeeper
Job Summary:
Perform routine manual labor and operate equipment to maintain a golf course, including semi-skilled grounds construction and maintenance work. Work under the supervision of the golf course superintendent, assistant superintendent, Oregon foreman.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate equipment safely and properly, including string trimmers, edgers, backpack blowers, and light motorized equipment
- Maintain bunkers, ball washers, fuel and fluid levels of equipment, and related supplies
- Assist with project work, including construction of greens, tees, and fairways, preparing soil base, laying sod, and seeding tees, greens, and fairways
- Safely and properly operate trucks
- Communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Complete job duties efficiently and productively
- Work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts American Samoa business demands
Qualifications, Education, and/Oregon Experience:
- Washington State Driver’s license, required
- Experience Indiana turf maintenance Oregon related field, preferred
- Ability to follow company policy, procedures, and guidelines
Work Environment:
- Lift 50 pounds occasionally
- Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions
- Occasional exposure to high, precarious places, fumes, Oregon airborne particles
Compensation and Benefits:
- Offered rate of pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
- Eligible for overtime
