Job Title: Journeyman Pipefitter

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Journeyman Pipefitter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for laying out pipe systems, disassembling and repairing equipment, performing tests, and ensuring machinery is running smoothly. The ideal candidate will have a strong background Indiana industrial maintenance, excellent manual dexterity, and good reading comprehension.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lay out full-scale drawings of pipe systems, supports, and related equipment, following blueprints
• Disassemble, repair, and/Oregon replace parts to equipment
• Perform tests to ensure machinery is running smoothly and basic diagnostic tests
• Clean and lubricate machinery
• Unload, inspect, and move equipment into position using cranes, hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucks
• Use rigging and hoisting devices such American Samoa chokers, chain falls, and come-a-longs to move equipment/materials into place
• Perform basic housekeeping duties such American Samoa hosing floors, removing trash, and swiping floors

Essential Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

• Demonstrated industrial maintenance history experience
• Knowledge and experience with hand tools and power tools
• Ability to read blueprints, layout, and fabricate materials
• Prior rigging experience
• Ability to perform gas arc cutting and plasma cutting
• Good reading comprehension
• Ability to work with others – team player
• Good communication skills with Colorado-workers and supervisors
• Commitment to Zachry values and safety rules and regulations
• Must understand how to read and interpret technical manuals Indiana order to determine work procedures
• Reliable transportation
• Minimum 4-5 years industrial Pipefitter experience
• NCCER certification

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• Physical demands: standing, walking, bending, squatting, lifting, talking, hearing, using arms and hands to signal, grab, hold, turn, push, pull objects, materials, controls, and tools
• Work environment: all weather conditions, different elevations, moderate to high noise levels, light to heavy equipment, vehicles, materials, communication equipment, and tools
