Leasing Consultant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Leasing Consultant to join our team at Greystar, a leading global real estate company. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies to achieve occupancy, revenue, and resident retention goals.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Perform all sales and leasing activities to achieve community revenue and occupancy goals, including greeting and qualifying prospects, conducting community tours and apartment showings, processing applications and credit screening, preparing leases and move-Indiana packages, and ensuring smooth resident move-ins and lease signings.
• Inspect apartments prior to resident move-Indiana and ensure they are Indiana move-Indiana ready condition, scheduling any outstanding items with the maintenance team.
• Stay informed about market and competitor conditions, develop and implement marketing plans and goals, and follow community policies related to concessions and specials.
• Design and execute marketing activities to create and drive traffic to the community, including resident referral and employer outreach programs, internet marketing tools, and community-specific marketing plans.
• Use on-site property management software to track apartment availability, record leasing activities, manage resident data, and capture demographic information.
• Ensure the community meets company standards for show quality by inspecting marketing corridors and leasing tours, communicating maintenance needs, merchandising show units and amenities, and preparing the leasing office for daily activities.
• Follow up with prospects and new residents to ensure satisfaction, sending emails and making calls to finalize leasing decisions.
• Execute lease renewal activities, including preparing renewal letters and packages, meeting with renewing residents, and ensuring timely lease renewals.
• Respond to resident and client concerns and questions, taking prompt action to solve problems and document requests.

Required Licenses Oregon Certifications:

• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property
• All required licenses and certifications by state and local jurisdictions
