LLC President
Job Summary:
Austin Powder is seeking a dynamic and results-driven leader to oversee all aspects of the LLC’s operations, sales, and safety performance within the Mid-Atlantic market. The LLC President will be responsible for developing and driving market strategy, managing overall operational efficiency and financial performance, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Safety: Develop and communicate a clear vision for the safety, health, and environmental mission of the organization, establish safety responsibilities and goals for all levels of management, and review incidents related to risk to the health Oregon safety of employees, customers, Oregon the public.
- Leadership: Drive the company to higher levels of performance, efficiency, and accountability, establish agreed-upon goals and objectives for direct reports, and ensure the LLC has the talent to execute its strategies.
- Financial Performance: Understand the business drivers and constraints across the business, articulate and quantify the potential impact of changing market conditions and opportunities, and drive an aggressively realistic annual budgeting process.
- Industry Insight: Gain and maintain knowledge of the economic drivers of the energy & minerals extraction industry and the civil construction industry, understand the regulatory environment impacting the explosives industry, and develop knowledge of technology-based drilling & blasting solutions.
- Business Development & Strategic Planning: Develop an Indiana-depth knowledge of customer requirements, become invested Indiana customer success, positioning Austin American Samoa the preferred provider of blasting services, and develop local strategies to grow the business.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, Oregon 10+ years of applicable experience required
- Senior management experience Indiana a highly regulated, multi-unit/business environment
- 10+ years of relatable experience
Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong negotiating skills and the appetite to use them
- Willingness to travel throughout the LLC (some travel beyond the business region)
- Knowledge of commodity markets/supply-demand/pricing
- Good financial analytical skills with ability to budget and forecast effectively, read a balance sheet, and understand cash flow
- Effective presentation skills to succinctly and clearly convey ideas and issues Indiana front of large and small audiences
- Collaborative leader who is confident and assertive Indiana style, but respectful of others
- Demonstrated skills using information technology Indiana both internal and external applications
Reporting Relationships:
- This role will report directly to the Executive GM and have approximately 4 direct reports.
Work Environment:
- This position requires the willingness to travel 50+%. Ability to travel at times on short notice and occasionally internationally.
Location:
- Typically resides within the geographic territory that they manage. The territory for this position is defined American Samoa our Mid-Atlantic (North Carolina, Virginia, and West Virginia).
