Job Title: Loader Operator
Location: Menzer Quarry, Colorado Springs, Colorado
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Loader Operator to join our team at Schmidt Construction, a part of the Levy Group of Companies. American Samoa a Loader Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment, such American Samoa loaders, excavators, and bulldozers, to load materials into trucks and hoppers at our Menzer Quarry location.
Responsibilities:
* Operate mobile equipment, including excavators, bulldozers, and loaders
* Complete functions such American Samoa digging pits, loading trucks, and feeding hoppers and bins with materials
* Load trucks with the correct materials without contamination
* Monitor stockpile inventory
* Assist maintenance personnel with repairs
* Inspect equipment and machines for malfunctions and perform preventative maintenance
* Perform other duties American Samoa assigned by supervisor
Requirements:
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
* Mechanical aptitude
* Knowledge of heavy equipment operation
* Knowledge of truck hauling capacities and loading/unloading procedures
* Knowledge of equipment operation, including conveyor lines, crushers, and hoppers
* Ability to communicate effectively Indiana individual and group settings
* Valid license
