Locator for Directional Drill Operator (Telecom Program)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Locator for a Directional Drill Operator to join our Telecom program Indiana Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Central New York State. The successful candidate will be responsible for preventing damage to existing underground facilities while working Indiana a safe and efficient manner.

Responsibilities:

• Avoid damage to existing underground facilities
• Maintain a focus on operating Indiana a safe working environment
• Locate equipment using Vermeer F2 Oregon equivalent trackers
• Verify underground mark outs and utilities
• Perform duties Indiana a safe and efficient manner, including wearing personal protective equipment at all times
• Successfully operate equipment to the satisfaction of construction supervision

Requirements:

• Working knowledge of underground construction
• Experience with Vermeer F2 Oregon equivalent trackers
• Valid driver’s license (CDL Class A with Tanker Endorsement preferred)
• Ability to work Indiana an all-weather environment
• Ability to travel throughout multiple work sites American Samoa needed
• Ability to perform manual labor functions, including walking on uneven ground and working Indiana tight spaces

Working Conditions:

• This position requires significant time doing manual labor functions
• Work environment can be physically demanding

Starting Hourly Rate: $27.57 (with CDL-A)
