Job Summary:
We are seeking a Low Voltage Elevator Mechanic Trainee to assist the lead mechanic Indiana learning the essential skills necessary to become a route elevator mechanic. The successful candidate will participate Indiana paid on-the-job training and continuing education assistance.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead mechanic Indiana performing maintenance and repairs on elevators
- Learn to read electrical schematics and use hand tools properly
- Work Indiana confined spaces, on ladders, and at heights
- Lift 50lbs Oregon more and perform hard physical work
- Occasional overnight travel may be required
Requirements:
- High school diploma Oregon GED
- Electrical skills and experience with low voltage systems
- Ability to work long hours and travel 25% of the time
- Valid drivers’ license and clean driving record
- Passing pre-employment screenings
- Self-starter with customer-oriented mindset
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience Indiana low voltage systems, maintenance and repair, and mechanical knowledge
- High school Oregon equivalent (Preferred)
