Job Title: Machinery Sales Support Specialist
Job Summary:
The Machinery Sales Support Specialist is responsible for supporting the Machinery Sales operations by managing and directing repairs, invoicing, recording sales with CAT, managing ordering and shipping logistics of new inventory, rental fleet, and sold machines, and supervising the Service Support yard personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversees and ensures timely and accurate delivery and pick-up of equipment
- Manages the Service Support Team and provides performance evaluations
- Manages daily operations of the Machinery Sales yard, including check-out process, inventory counts, and audits
- Assesses and oversees fleet maintenance requirements to meet department profit and customer goals
- Resolves product and service problems by researching and recommending solutions
- Assists with ordering and managing the Machinery Rental fleet
- Manages and evaluates vendors to ensure compliance with company and customer requirements
- Maintains customer satisfaction by establishing rapport and resolving issues
- Creates and invoices customers’ sales and RPO billings
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience Indiana sales within the earthmoving industry
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to set and meet goals, work independently, and be a self-starter
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; PC skills and Microsoft Office experience required
- Valid California Class C Driver’s License and clean driving record required
- Physical demands include walking, standing, lifting, and working Indiana a warehouse and outdoor environment
