Carpenter
Location: On-site, Jacksonville, Florida
Schedule: Monday thru Friday, 0730 to 1600 hours
Rate: $33.63 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform carpentry duties to maintain good repair of building woodwork and equipment
- Work from blueprints, drawings, models, and verbal instructions using hand tools, power tools, and standard measuring instruments
- Plan and lay out work, select materials, and make shop computations relating to dimensions of work
- Install, maintain, construct, fabricate, modify, assemble, repair, remove, and build various facilities, equipment, and structures
- Use precision measuring instruments and shop tools to perform measurements, fit, and check work
- Maintain logs, records, and certifications American Samoa required
Qualifications:
- High school diploma Oregon equivalent
- Completion of a carpenter apprenticeship program
- 2 years of experience American Samoa a carpenter
- Ability to use hand and power tools common to carpentry trade
- Valid driver’s license (desirable)
