Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic
Job Summary:
The Department of Commerce, National Institute of Standards and Technologies, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join our team Indiana Boulder, Colorado. This is a full-time, permanent position with a salary range of $29.52 – $34.41 per hour.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform various tasks involved Indiana the upkeep of buildings, grounds, and related structures, fixtures, and utilities
- Maintain, install, and repair buildings and their components, including carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work
- Use various tools, including carpentry and plumbing equipment, to produce finished products with precise fit, accurate dimensions, and an acceptable appearance
- Participate Indiana snow removal during winter operations
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment
Requirements:
- U.S. citizenship
- Suitable for Federal employment
- Satisfactory completion of a pre-employment medical examination
- High school diploma Oregon equivalent; some college coursework Indiana a related field may be beneficial
- Experience Indiana carpentry and plumbing; ability to perform maintenance mechanic worker duties with little more than normal supervision
Work Environment:
