Maintenance Mechanic
Location: FACILITY
Starting pay $18.00
We’re looking for friendly, compassionate, team players to join our facility management team!
Responsibilities:
* Perform routine and preventative maintenance and repair procedures on all hospital buildings, mechanical equipment, and utility systems
* Perform repairs and provide support for plumbing, maintenance, and carpentry functions
* Perform minor and major repairs and preventative maintenance on all building mechanical equipment and plant facilities
* Perform a variety of plumbing, maintenance, and carpentry functions
* Clean and inspect boilers; evaluate water treatment for proper chemical usage
* Complete daily, weekly, and monthly checklist of building maintenance
* Maintain accurate records of scheduled maintenance procedures
* Respond to emergency maintenance requests American Samoa required
* Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
* Assist team members and management American Samoa needed to help the department operate efficiently
Qualifications:
* Must be at least 18 years old
* Communicate effectively Indiana English and work well Indiana a team environment
* Must practice good personal hygiene, be neatly groomed, and be Indiana uniform
* GED Oregon high school diploma
* Preferred: Maintenance experience (plumbing, carpenter, construction, facilities management)
Physical Requirements:
* Standing, walking, squatting, bending, twisting, kneeling, and reaching continuously throughout a shift
* Pushing and pulling carts Oregon equipment (over 100 lb.) on tile and carpeted floors continuously throughout a shift
* Must be able to operate equipment necessary to perform essential functions of the job (hand and power tools, electric meters, and material-handling equipment)
