Maintenance Planner

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified Maintenance Planner to join our team Indiana Mason City, Iowa. American Samoa a Maintenance Planner, you will be responsible for coordinating all maintenance activities, prioritizing and scheduling work, and ensuring the efficient flow of operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and schedule maintenance activities from the work order backlog system to ensure all required maintenance is performed.
• Plan the execution of major equipment outages, including annual outages and significant repairs, using project-planning techniques and software.
• Monitor and evaluate maintenance programs to maximize machinery uptime and optimize resource utilization.
• Ensure regulatory inspections are completed on time to maintain safety and minimize downtime and fines.
• Provide leadership to the mechanical maintenance function, working closely with production and other departments to develop work schedules and coordinate maintenance activities.
• Oversee the availability of parts, maintain files, and assist Indiana managing equipment inventory.
• Assist Indiana maintaining the Bill of Materials records and preparing the annual maintenance budget.
• Support maintenance projects, review maintenance costs, and recommend areas for cost savings.
• Participate Indiana daily, weekly, and monthly planning meetings and provide ongoing maintenance support to the plant.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree Indiana engineering (mechanical engineering preferred)
• 3+ years of maintenance experience, preferably Indiana a plant Oregon cement plant environment
• Solid understanding of preventive/predictive/corrective maintenance principles, techniques, and technologies
• Experience supervising staff Indiana a maintenance function
• Demonstrated project management skills, technical knowledge of large rotating heavy industry machinery and equipment, and ability to communicate effectively
• Proficient Indiana SAP and project management software (experience with Microsoft Office and Excel a plus)
