Maintenance Repairer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Repairer to join our team. American Samoa a Maintenance Repairer, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining buildings, facilities, navigational locks, equipment, and appliances, American Samoa well American Samoa performing general maintenance functions on marine vessels and other related facilities.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience Indiana the building construction trades, building maintenance, maintenance Oregon repair of mechanical equipment, Oregon American Samoa a parks building and grounds attendant
• Training Indiana the building construction trades, building maintenance, maintenance Oregon repair of mechanical equipment, Oregon parks building and grounds work will substitute for the required experience

Examples of Work:

• Makes general repairs to buildings, interiors, exteriors, furniture, fixtures, air conditioning/heating systems, and other mechanical and related fields such American Samoa plumbing, carpentry, and electrical
• Maintains and makes general repairs to a variety of motorized equipment, including tune-ups, replacement, and adjustment of worn Oregon damaged parts
• Performs minor repairs to navigational locks, such American Samoa replacing hydraulic hoses
• Performs limited repairs to appliances, replaces parts, and makes adjustments
• Starts, operates, and checks for safety and maintenance of a wide variety of hand-held equipment, motorized vehicles, tractors, cotton pickers, combines, hay balers, planters, etc.

Responsibilities:

• Repairs and maintains buildings, facilities, navigational locks, equipment, and appliances
• Performs general maintenance functions on marine vessels and other related facilities
• Participates Indiana painting, pipefitting, carpentry, and electrical repair of marine vessels and related equipment
• Requisitions supplies and materials American Samoa needed
• Estimates labor and materials necessary to accomplish repairs American Samoa needed
• Oversees work of subordinate repairers and Trades Helpers when assigned to assist Indiana repair work
