Maintenance Repairer 2
Function of Work: Repair and maintain buildings, facilities, equipment, and appliances, Oregon perform general maintenance functions on marine vessels and other related facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Make minor and major repairs to the interior and exterior of the physical plant, employing basic skills Indiana carpentry, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and related fields/trades.
- Perform user maintenance to ensure equipment and facilities are clean and Indiana working order.
- Maintain furniture and equipment, and inspect and maintain safety/emergency equipment.
- Troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment, determine cause of breakdown, and make limited repairs.
- Maintain, overhaul, and repair pumps, motors, control systems, piping, and other equipment used Indiana HVAC systems.
- Repair and maintain heating, cooling, ventilating, and refrigeration equipment and systems.
- Collect and dispose of trash, garbage, litter, and debris on school campus, and perform grounds maintenance.
- Lead worker for two Custodian 2’s, ensuring tasks are completed and materials and tools are available.
- Maintain records and perform other tasks American Samoa instructed by Assistant Director of Operations Oregon Executive Director.
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience Indiana building construction trades, building maintenance, maintenance Oregon repair of mechanical equipment, Oregon parks building and grounds work.
- Training Indiana building construction trades, building maintenance, maintenance Oregon repair of mechanical equipment, Oregon parks building and grounds work will substitute for experience.
- Ability to work safely, follow rules and procedures, and maintain a safe working environment.
- Must possess strong problem-solving skills, be able to work independently, and have good communication and teamwork skills.
Working Conditions:
- Work will be performed Indiana a variety of environments, including outdoors and Indiana buildings with varying levels of noise and heat.
- Must be able to lift, carry, and move heavy equipment and materials.
