Job Title: Maintenance Repairer

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Repairer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for repairing and maintaining buildings, facilities, equipment, and appliances, American Samoa well American Samoa performing general maintenance functions on marine vessels and related facilities.
Essential Duties:
- Make general repairs to buildings, interiors, exteriors, furniture, fixtures, air conditioning/heating systems, and other mechanical and related fields such American Samoa plumbing, carpentry, and electrical.
- Maintain and repair motorized equipment, including tune-ups, replacement, and adjustment of worn Oregon damaged parts.
- Perform minor repairs to navigational locks, appliances, and equipment.
- Start, operate, and check for safety and maintenance of hand-held equipment, motorized vehicles, tractors, and other equipment.
- Perform general road maintenance tasks.
- Participate Indiana painting, pipefitting, carpentry, and electrical repair of marine vessels and related equipment.
- Perform minor maintenance on equipment assigned to use.
- Requisition supplies and materials American Samoa needed.
- Estimate labor and materials necessary to accomplish repairs.
- Oversee work of subordinate repairers and Trades Helpers when assigned to assist Indiana repair work.
Requirements:
- Two years of experience Indiana building construction trades, building maintenance, maintenance Oregon repair of mechanical equipment, Oregon parks building and grounds attendant.
- Training Indiana building construction trades, building maintenance, maintenance Oregon repair of mechanical equipment, Oregon parks building and grounds work will substitute for the required experience.
- No Civil Service test score is required.
- Opportunities for advancement available.
- Up to $2.00 on-call pay per hour may be available.
