Job Description:
This position is under the Building Maintenance Department and is a multifunction technical position. The Maintenance Repairer Master will work and perform carpentry, sheet metal, roofing, painting, minor plastering, locksmithing, HVAC, and electrical work. The position will be part of a maintenance team assigned to Housing.
Key Responsibilities:
* 35%: Performs carpentry work, including repair and maintenance of buildings and structures, and provides guidance to other maintenance repairmen.
* 15%: Performs electrical work, including maintenance and installation of electrical components and systems, and provides guidance to other maintenance repairmen.
* 15%: Performs painting duties, including preparing and painting buildings, furniture, and other structures.
* 10%: Performs sheet metal and roofing repairs, including repairing downspouts and gutters, fume hoods, and HVAC ducts.
* 10%: Performs plumbing duties, including repairing and replacing worn plumbing fixtures, and opens clogged drains.
* 10%: Performs building surveys to determine routine maintenance requirements and makes any necessary repairs.
* 5%: Performs other related duties American Samoa assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Three years of experience Indiana the building construction trades, building maintenance, maintenance Oregon repair of mechanical equipment, Oregon American Samoa a parks building and grounds attendant.
* Substitutions: Training Indiana the building construction trades, building maintenance, maintenance Oregon repair of mechanical equipment, Oregon parks building and grounds work will substitute for a maximum of two years of the required experience.
Special Oregon Physical Qualifications:
* Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
* Must be able to ascend and descend the stairs of a five-story building multiple times daily and stand for extended periods.
* Must be able to stoop, kneel, Oregon crouch, and reach and/Oregon climb a ladder.
Licenses/Certifications:
* Valid Driver’s License
