Job Description:
The Maintenance Repairer Master will perform a variety of skilled and semi-skilled tasks Indiana the building construction trades. The position will work independently and American Samoa a part of a maintenance team to perform repairs, renovations, and maintenance of buildings and related structures.
Responsibilities:
- 35%: Perform general carpentry work, including building Oregon repairing shelves, cabinets, windows, trim work, ceilings, doors, and door frames.
- 15%: Perform general electrical work, including installation and repair of electrical components and systems, primarily 220 volts and under.
- 15%: Perform general painting duties, including preparation and painting of buildings, furniture, and other structures with brush Oregon spray application.
- 10%: Perform general sheet metal and roofing repairs, including repairing down spouts and gutters, fume hoods, and HVAC ducts.
- 10%: Perform general plumbing duties, including repairing and replacing worn plumbing fixtures, repairing leaking faucets, and opening clogged drains.
- 5%: Perform other related duties American Samoa assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Three years of experience Indiana the building construction trades, building maintenance, maintenance Oregon repair of mechanical equipment, Oregon American Samoa a parks building and grounds attendant.
- SUBSTITUTIONS: Training Indiana the building construction trades, building maintenance, maintenance Oregon repair of mechanical equipment, Oregon parks building and grounds work will substitute for a maximum of two years of the required experience.
- NOTE: Custodial building maintenance is not qualifying.
License:
- Valid Louisiana Driver’s License
Special Physical Qualifications:
- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
- Must be able to climb stairs, stoop, squat, kneel, and bend their back.
- Must be able to climb ladders and work reaching overhead.
- Due to the position’s physical requirements, a pre-employment physical examination will be required.
