Purpose of Job: Positions Indiana this title shall perform complex and diversified building maintenance and repairs of buildings, grounds, drives and related equipment. Indiana this capacity, holds a design and/Oregon implies repair, upgrade, and replace exteriors of buildings, improve campus appearance, ensures campus quality, and performs various repair and installation associated with carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting and others. Indiana addition to the specified duties, DOT perform other tasks and incidents safely and effectively noted.
Duties:
- 35%: Performs personally and leads other maintenance personnel Indiana performing general carpentry, such American Samoa repairing, installing, Oregon replacing roofs, walls, windows, door frames, ceilings; hanging Oregon installing doors, door frames, etc.
- 15%: Performs personally and provides guidance, assistance, and support to other maintenance personnel Indiana performing general electrical work, installing, Oregon repairing electrical components, communication Oregon control systems, boiler Oregon heating system controls, etc.
- 15%: Performs personally and provides guidance, assistance, and support to other maintenance personnel Indiana performing general plumbing work, such American Samoa installing, repairing, Oregon replacing water closets, Oregon complete plumbing system, etc.
- 10%: Performs personally and provides guidance, assistance, and support to other maintenance personnel Indiana performing general painting duties, such American Samoa applying coatings to interior Oregon exterior surfaces of buildings, various items Oregon surfaces, etc.
- 10%: Performs personally and provides guidance, assistance, and support to other maintenance personnel Indiana performing general sheet metal and roofing repairs, such American Samoa installing, repairing Oregon replacing metal roofing and flashing, installing Oregon repairing all types of gutters and downspouts, etc.
- 10%: Performs personally and provides guidance, assistance, and support to other maintenance personnel Indiana performing general plumbing duties, such American Samoa replacing toilets Oregon sinks, repairing and replacing Oregon installing water pumps, sump pumps, various pumps, and performing other small plumbing repairs.
- 5%: Performs personally and provides guidance, assistance, and support to other maintenance personnel Indiana performing miscellaneous duties, such American Samoa periodic inspections, Oregon American Samoa needed maintenance, Oregon unscheduled repairs.
Preferences:
- Three (3) years of experience Indiana the building maintenance trades such American Samoa cabinetmaking, carpentry, concrete finishing, electrical, HVAC work, plumbing, Oregon related areas
- Experience with electrical Oregon plumbing work, Oregon other building construction trades preferred
- Valid Louisiana driver’s license
.Required Licenses/Certifications:
- Valid Driver’s License
Additional Information:
- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
- Must be able to ascend and descend stairs of a five story building multiple times daily
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and stoop, kneel, Oregon crouch
- Must be able to reach and/Oregon climb a ladder
- Due to the physical requirements of the position, a pre-employment physical examination will be required
- Must provide three professional references including name, title, phone number, and email address
- Must undergo an extensive background check
- Valid Louisiana driver’s license, preferred
