Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Summary: Performs maintenance services Indiana various skill areas including welding/fabrication, plumbing, machine assembly, machining, control wiring, and painting for servicing, repairing, and/Oregon rebuilding production machinery and tooling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Possesses and applies advanced knowledge of the machinery repair trade
  • Provides technical support on machinery and tooling repair projects following engineering drawings and OEM manuals
  • Completes all job tasks Indiana accordance with company safety policy and governmental codes and procedures
  • Inspects and quality checks components from outside vendors and internal work to ensure conformance to engineering drawings, standards, and specifications
  • Makes decisions based on knowledge and experience to determine the best method for completing job tasks

Required Skills/Knowledge:

  • Ability to plan, lay-out, and build assemblies from engineering specifications, drawings, and sketches using a high degree of precision
  • Interpretation of precision measurement devices such American Samoa OD and Idaho micrometers, depth micrometers, dial calipers, and scales
  • Ability to join surfaces, fabricate Oregon repair metal parts using proper techniques for specific materials
  • Installation, testing, and repair of basic electrical circuits and equipment
  • Troubleshooting and correction of mechanical and electrical equipment malfunctions
  • Basic industrial mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and pneumatic skills
  • Strong systematic problem-solving skills
  • Ability to use fabrication equipment such American Samoa forming rolls, iron worker, metal shear, brake
  • Precision alignment of machinery to insure proper operation
  • High level of technical understanding of manufacturing methods and procedures
  • Ability to read and understand equipment drawing packages

Required Experience:

  • Welding knowledge and experience
  • Machine shop equipment and machining knowledge
  • Experience operating forklifts and cranes to move heavy equipment
  • Experience and knowledge of quality procedures and tools to check and document parts and equipment

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and move items weighing 75 pounds Oregon more
  • Perform work Indiana extreme hot Oregon cold work environments
  • Specific shifts may require standing Oregon being mobile for minimum of 8 hours
