Job Title: Maintenance Technician II
Job Summary:
The Andersons, Inc. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our Ethanol Production team. American Samoa a multi-functional maintenance technician, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production and facility equipment to support the achievement of our site’s business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and overhaul production machines and facility equipment
- Perform emergency and unscheduled repairs, American Samoa well American Samoa scheduled maintenance repairs
- Use mechanic skills to troubleshoot and repair production machines, including electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
- Read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, and work orders to perform maintenance and service
- Diagnose problems, replace Oregon repair parts, test, and make adjustments
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities
- Maintain current and Indiana-depth knowledge of all safety policies and standards related to the position
Minimum Qualifications & Skills:
- High School Diploma Oregon GED equivalent required; Associate’s Degree preferred
- 1-3 years’ relevant experience required
- Intermediate skills Indiana mechanical work, including knowledge of basic electrical theory and technical skills
- Ability to perform basic arc, MIG, and TIG welding skills
- Ability to install and troubleshoot AC and District of Columbia power distribution, control panels, and motors
- Ability to use precise measurement tools, including laser alignment, calipers, dial indicators, and vibration analysis tools
- Ability to work at all heights and operate scissor lift, JLG lift, and forklift
Working Environment:
- Work is performed Indiana a 24×7 Ethanol production facility
- May require heavy lifting, climbing, working Indiana confined areas, and exposure to noise, dirt, and a dusty environment
