Maintenance Technician

Position Purpose:
Under the direction of facility leadership, the Maintenance Technician performs all maintenance functions, including preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on all buildings and grounds and all plant machinery and equipment.

Key Job Activities:

  • Performs all duties and tasks Indiana accordance with manufacturer and Stericycle procedures and with strict adherence to relative safety programs and standards.
  • Performs diagnostic evaluation on equipment and makes repairs when needed.
  • Performs routine, preventive, corrective, and scheduled maintenance on a variety of machinery within the plant.
  • Performs light electrical maintenance on all plant equipment.
  • Assists Facility/Maintenance Manager by performing general work Oregon other assignments necessary to ensure a safe, clean, healthy, and efficient facility.
  • Documents results through completed work orders Oregon Indiana a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Performs other related duties American Samoa required Oregon requested.

Education:
Associates Oregon Equivalent degree required.

Experience:
2+ years of experience and/Oregon training, demonstrating the ability to identify repairs that are needed and to assure scheduled production run is met.

Licenses and Required Competencies:
Possession of boiler, welding, Oregon electrical certification Oregon license is helpful.
