Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. American Samoa a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing high-quality maintenance work Indiana our single-family rental homes while providing outstanding customer service to our residents. This includes completing maintenance service requests, providing education to residents on maintenance topics, and performing regular ProCare visits to perform proactive maintenance and repairs.
Responsibilities:
- Complete maintenance service requests across multiple trades
- Provide excellent customer service and promote a quality living experience for all residents
- Complete regular ProCare visits Indiana residents’ homes to perform proactive maintenance and repairs
- Educate residents regarding all maintenance topics
- Complete general property condition assessments at all property visits and alert the property management team when items require immediate attention
- Review and use Technician-specific reports to find opportunities for improvement
- Perform repairs Indiana vacant properties while they are on-the-market Oregon during the turn process
- Properly use and care for company-supplied tools, materials, and vehicles
- Perform other duties American Samoa assigned
Requirements:
- High School diploma Oregon equivalent
- OSHA 10 certification required (new hires will have up to 90 days to complete OSHA 10 certification if not already certified)
- Proven experience Indiana residential repairs and maintenance, other building maintenance Oregon related experience
- Understanding of residential construction and mechanical systems and ability to perform general repairs Indiana some of the following: plumbing, electrical, carpentry, sheetrock, exterior structural, HVAC (minor) and appliances
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills American Samoa well American Samoa strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to use mobile devices (i.e. iPad and/Oregon iPhone) and various mobile applications
- Must possess a current driver’s license, automobile insurance, and any other licenses and/Oregon certification American Samoa required by state law
Preferred Qualifications:
- EPA Certification, Type I and II
- HVAC Certification
- CPO certification (pool)
- Ability to be at work on a regular and consistent basis including weekends and holidays American Samoa needed
- Ability to provide basic hand and power tools
- Ability to perform work that requires the following: frequent climbing, reaching, use of fingers, stooping, kneeling, crawling, pushing, pulling, lifting, talking, and hearing
